1. “Negro still is not free”, “dream”, “oasis of freedom”, “content of their character”, “God’s children”, “free at last” are words, phrases and ideas which stood out for me. This is because the evidence of oppression had been present in the way in which Martin Luther King Jr. had expressed sorrow. The dream had been to ensure that every American irrespective of race and color would be able to live the American Dream. There had been emphasis laid on the character of an individual more than anything else. There had been persuasion of the minds of the members of the audience by uniting and relating to God.
